General Questions

  1. What's the difference between a Digital Product and a Standard Product?

    Many of our products have been digitized for instant access over the Internet.  We refer to them as our Digital Products.  The product is not shipped to you.  Viewing, listening, or reading is done with an Internet connection for a limited period of time. 
     
    Digital Products are for single-user, personal use.  
     
    The items we refer to as our Standard Products are the traditional forms of our products—books, DVDs, CDs, and other printed matter.  Hard copies are shipped to you to build your professional library.  They are yours to keep forever.  
     
    Standard Products may be shown in a classroom or group setting.
     
  2. What types of devices can I use to access my digital purchase?

    Our digital products are designed to be accessible with computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.  Your device must be able to connect to the Internet in order to view your purchase.

  3. Do I need a high-speed, Internet connection to view my digital purchase?

    The faster the connection, the less time it will take the content to load to your device for viewing. The speed of your connectivity will determine your viewing experience.

  4. Can I show my digital purchase to a group of people?

    No.  All of our digital products are sold as single-user- access items.  You are purchasing a limited, nontransferable license to view the product for personal use.
     
    To use any of our videos or audios in a group setting, please purchase the Standard Product version of the product.

  5. How do I purchase digital products?

    To purchase a digital version of our products please visit www.EffectiveTeaching.com and click the digital icon to open the digital product page.  From there you can complete your purchase.

  6. Can I use a Purchase Order online to buy digital products?

    No. While our shopping cart handles prepaid orders, if you intend to use a purchase order to purchase our digital products, please email CustomerService@HarryWong.com or call 650-965-7896 for assistance.

  7. What is your return policy?

    Return of a digital product is not available once the digital product has been accessed.  If you have not accessed the product and would like a refund, please email CustomerService@HarryWong.com or call Customer Service at 650-965-7896 with your request.

  8. Can I change or cancel my order?

    You can change or cancel your order if you have not accessed the item.  Please call Customer Service at 650-965-7896 during our business hours for immediate assistance.

  9. How do I place an international order?

    The Internet allows us to have a presence around the world.  We gladly accept orders from anyone, from anywhere.  If you can complete your order on our website, your Access Code and instructions for accessing the content will be emailed to you.
     
    If you are ordering our eLearning course, Classroom Management with Harry and Rosemary Wong, please contact us by email CustomerService@HarryWong.com or call 650-965-7896 for assistance with your order.  This course has modifications for our International customers because of the parts of the course that are sent with each purchase (binder, book, or printed packet).
  10. Do you sell your digital products to wholesale vendors?

    No.  Our digital products are not available to vendors at wholesale prices.

  1. How do I purchase these digital products?

    On the All Products page, click the link that says, “Digital customers click here."  You will be taken to the page with the digital product to complete your purchase.

  2. How quickly can I access my digital purchase?

    Access to these digital products is immediate.  When an order is placed for a digital product, you are asked for your email address.  As soon as your order is confirmed, an email is sent to you with your Access Code and where to find the digital players. 
     
    If you do not receive an email with your Access Code immediately after placing your order, please check the spam folder for your email.  If the email is not there, then please email CustomerService@HarryWong.com or call Customer Service at 650-965-7896 for assistance.
     
  3. Where do I access the digital product?

    The players for our digital products are housed at www.iWong.com.  Click the product you wish to view, enter your Access Code, and you are on your way.

  4. Can I download these digital products?

    Our digital videos and audios are designed to be streamed over the Internet.  They cannot be downloaded and saved on your device.

  5. How long will I be able to access my digital product?

    Access to digital videos and audio products is for 120 days from date of purchase.  

  6. Are there any restrictions in using my digital purchase?

    For digital videos and audios, these are the terms of use you must acknowledge and agree to before completing your purchase:
     
    • Access is for a single user and for personal use only.
    • The course is not to be shown to a group in an education or commercial setting.
    • Access is for 120 days from date of purchase.

  2. How quickly will I gain access to the course?

    The information for accessing the course is emailed to you within one business day of placing your order.

    The other items that are part of the course are shipped to you within one business day of placing your order.

  3. Where do I access the eLearning course?

    Our eLearning course, Classroom Management with Harry and Rosemary Wong, is located at www.ClassroomManagement.com.  Click the Launch Course button and enter your credentials to start the course.  

    All of these details are provided in the email sent with the purchase of the eLearning course.

  4. How long will I be able to access the eLearning course?

    Access is for 60 days from date of purchase.

  5. Are there any restrictions in using the eLearning course?

    For our eLearning course, these are the terms of use you must acknowledge and agree to before completing your purchase:

  1. Why do you use outside vendors to provide some of your digital services?

    Our expertise is creating content and providing the end user with an optimum experience using that content.  Because of the ever-changing nature of tools that can access electronic content, we have paired with vendors who are leaders in delivering electronic content in the hopes of providing you with the best viewing experience.

  2. Can I purchase eBooks on from your website?

    No.  You need to complete the purchase of an eBook directly with the vendor who offers the product.  Once you select the vendor, a separate window will open for you to complete your purchase on the vendor’s site.  Close the window after you complete the transaction to return to our website.

  3. How do I purchase an eBook?

    On the All Products page, click the link that says, “eBook customers click here.”  You will be taken to the page with the digital product to complete your purchase.

  4. How quickly will I gain access to the eBook?

    Our vendors offer instant access to your purchase.  You will be emailed an access code from the vendor upon completion of the order.

  5. Where do I access the eBook?

    For ebook access, see the selected vendor’s website for access details.

  6. How long will I be able to access my eBook?

    Access to your eBook purchase is determined by each vendor.  Please check each vendor’s site and choose the one best suited for your needs.

  7. Can I download the eBook?

    For eBooks purchased from our recommended vendors, downloading is determined by each vendor.  Please check their sites for complete details.

  8. Are there any restrictions on my eBook purchase?

    For eBooks purchased from our recommended vendors, the terms of use are set by each vendor.  Please check their sites for any restrictions on the use of your ebook.
